Mr. Junior Ray Lane, 79, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, AR. Mr. Lane was born in Beech Grove, AR., on February 8, 1937. He was a retired farmer and owner-operator of a gas station. He enjoyed hunting, riding four-wheelers and visiting, talking with friends. He was member of the Knobel Church of Christ.
He married his wife of 58 years Ann Marie (McIntosh) Lane on September 28, 1957, she survives. Other survivors in include four sons Rick Lane and wife Toshya of Corning, AR., David Lane and wife Kim of Pocahontas, AR., Michael Lane and wife Kim od Pocahontas, AR., Tracy Lane of Pocahontas, AR.; one brother Eddie Lane of Mountain Home, AR.; one sister Betty Ricker Harrisonville, MO.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Edith (Walker) Lane, two bothers James Lane, Billy Lane; four sisters Aileen Phillips, Fern Garner, Sylvia Rhodes and Bonnie Phillips.
Mr. Lanes family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Green Acres Nursing Home for all the care and compassion given by them during his stay.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Knobel Church of Christ in Knobel, AR., with Robert Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
