Junior Stacy

Mr. Junior Stacy, 74, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at home. Mr. Stacy was born in Corning, AR., on January 11, 1946. He enjoyed working on bicycles, watching trains and collecting Hot Wheels, John Deere and other die cast toys. He loved working with his dog, Mac. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Corning.

On June 20, 1980, he married Lue (Garrett) Stacy. They were married 40 years prior to his death. Other survivors include his brother Larry (Neshia) Stacy of Paducah, KY.; sisters Peggy (Jack) McKinney of Naylor, MO., Judy (Rod) Laughlin of Naylor, MO., Tanya (Jim) Stark of Jonesboro, AR.; goddaughter Haley Arnold; his mother’s husband, Bill Cavenar; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great great-nieces and nephews, church family; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nadine (Smith) Cavenar; grandmother Maggie Smith; and brother Billy Cavenar.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ryan Curtis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Nelson Cemetery, Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
