Karen Martin

Mrs. Karen Fay Martin, 66, of Peach Orchard, AR., passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Martin was born in Rochester, MN., she was a retired factory worker and a member of the Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church.

She married her husband Edward Charles Martin in October of 1968. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons David Squires of Lynn, AR., Charles Martin and wife Teresa of Corning, AR., Marcus Martin of Peach Orchard, AR.; five daughters Beverly Arnold of Corning, AR., Christine Wolverton of Corning, AR., Marsha and husband Byron Vowell of Knob, AR., Faye Martin of Little Rock, AR., Amanda Martin of Peach Orchard, AR.; special friend Oather Conway of Peach Orchard, AR.; four foster children Corbin, Angelina, Kaina and Avril Conway of Peach Orchard, AR.; two brothers Wesley Squires of Corning, AR., John Squires and wife Brenda of Peach Orchard, AR.; 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Eskel and Dorothy B. (Nemode) Squires; and one brother Lee Squires.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Peach Orchard Pentecostal Church with Reverend Randell Pinkston officiating. Public visitation will held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home.
