Karri Ann (Haywood) Baker, 39, of Germantown, TN., passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
A graduate of Corning High School, Karri attended Arkansas State University before embarking on a career in sales. She was currently a sales representative for Curtis Stout in Memphis. Karri enjoyed life and was determined to live it to the fullest. An outgoing, adventurous spirit and the ability to talk to anyone characterized Karri's life from birth. As a final expression of her love for others, Karri served as an organ and tissue donor. Karri was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR., and was she currently attending Kirby Woods Baptist Church in Germantown.
She is survived by her daughter Kennedy Baker of the home; her parents Paul and Elizabeth Haywood of Corning, AR.; one sister Paula Moore of Oxford, MS.; one niece Kaitlyn Moore; two nephews Peyton and Hayden Moore; her maternal grandmother Ruth Shipman Duff; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Dewey Shipman, and her paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haywood.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Matt Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday August 6, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Corning Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Kennedy Baker Education Fund at First National Bank, Corning, AR.
