Kathy Buchanan

Ms. Kathy Buchanan, 60, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Ms. Buchanan was born in Saint Louis, MO., on November 1, 1958. She was a retired Library Director for Corning Library where she worked for 33 years. She was a member of NEARK Regional Library Association and enjoyed reading, puzzles, crocheting, fishing, gardening, canning, genealogy and taking care of her cats. She attended First Baptist Church in Corning.

Survivors include two sisters Norma Wilcox of McDougal, AR., Bonnie and husband Oney Livingston of Paragould, AR.; two nephews Adam Buchanan and Benjamin Livingston and wife Breanna; great-niece Charlee Brooke Livingston; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Nayriene (Stow) Buchanan and brother Tolbert Russell.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Lewis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Mars Hill Cemetery, near Crockett, AR.Visitation will be held Thursday September 5, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Wells, Jimmy Leach, John Bunch, Larry Wells, Adam Buchanan and Benjamin Livingston; honorary pallbearers are Danny Moore and Wayne O'Guin.
