Keith Stormes

Keith Stormes, 77, of Knobel, AR., passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Stormes was born June 30, 1947 in Peach Orchard, AR. He had worked as a lumber-jack, truck driver, car salesman and for Farm-Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Delaplaine Baptist Church.

He married his wife of 58 years Miss Dian Keeling on June 20, 1966. She survives. Other survivors include his children Diana Kay (Leonard) Rush of Peach Orchard, AR., Glenda (Mark) Curtis of Peach Orchard, AR., Brian Stormes of Knobel, AR., Mindy (Robert) Carpenter of Lonoke, AR., and Ben William Stormes II of Knobel, AR.; his sister Benny Earls of Poplar Bluff, MO.; daughter-in-law Tina Stormes of Knobel, AR.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben William “Pa” and Madie Beatrice “Ma” (Holt) Stormes; his son Derwin Bradley Stormes; granddaughter Bethany Renee Stormes; great-granddaughter Breanna Rose Curtis; and his siblings Coleen Vallance, Beatrice Wyatt, Betty Hudson, Ellen Hill and Stanley Stormes; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Bro. David Stallings officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR.
