Kenneth Ray Nixon

Mr. Kenneth Ray Nixon, 64, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at home. Mr. Nixon was a retired supervisor from General Motors, he was a Master Mason and member of Corning Masonic Lodge # 719.

He married his wife Carla Trae (Zanzig) Nixon on September 8, 2000, she survives. Other survivors include two children Kendra and husband Jim Duncan of Corning, AR., Jeff Nixon of Corning, Ar.; two step-children Betty and husband Mike VanHorn of CA., William McQuinley and wife Bobbie Jo of VA.; four grandchildren Jessie and husband Brett Rollow of TX., Amanda and husband Darrell McGuire of OK., Tiffany Nixon of OK., Kenneth Nixon of Corning, AR.; three step-grandchildren Ashley VanHorn of CA., Natasha McQuinley of VA., Malya McQuinley of VA.; two sisters Loretta Murray of Corning, AR., Mary and husband Mike Webb of MO.; brother in heart Jerry Jordan of Corning, AR.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arby and Gertrude(Rothman) Nixon; infant daughter Kimberly and brother-in-law Garry Murray.

Masonic Funeral services will be conducted graveside Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM until time of service in the Ermert Funeral Home.
