Kenny Nixon

Kenny Nixon, 87, of Corning, passed away May 15, 2023 at home in Corning.

Mr. Nixon was born on February 17, 1936 in Corning. He was a carpenter and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of Purcell Church in Rector, AR.

On December 29, 1961, he married Wiley Ray Montgomery, they were married 61 years prior to her death on February 11, 2023.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents George and Ada (Micenhammer) Nixon; brothers Albert, Arby and Virgil Nixon; and sisters Eva, Edna, and Ethel.

Visitation will be held Thursday May 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 PM with Bro. Jeff Miles officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR.
