Lawrence Wallace

Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Wallace 82, of Memphis, TN., passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at home. Mr. Wallace was in the accounting field and a retired credit manager. He Proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, he enjoyed working with electronics and was an avid reader.

He married his wife Christine (Jackson) Wallace on August 6, 1948, She survives. Other survivers include three sons William “Bill” Wallace of Denver,
CO., Steve Wallace of Memphis, TN., James Wallace of Jackson, TN.; one Brother James H. Wallace of Waverly, TN.; one sister Katherine Conner Williams of Fort Smith, AR.; five Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo & Kattie Bell (Summerton) Wallace; one son Ricky Wallace and one granddaughter Eva Wallace.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery.Public visitation will be Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
