Laymon Burkheart

Mr. Laymon Eugene Burkheart, 35, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Burkheart was born in Paragould, AR., on November 27, 1979. He was a Pipeline worker and member of Pipeliners Union # 798. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the General Baptist Faith and was attending the Cowboy Church.
He is survived by his parents Bill Gene and Wanda Jean (Jackson) Burkheart of Corning, AR.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Nathan Burkheart on October 23, 1991; grandparents J.L. and Earlene Burkheart, Gerald and Lavada Jackson, Amos and Fannie Young.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
