Lee Roy Kirby

Mr. Lee Roy Kirby, 85, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mr. Kirby was born in Datto, AR., on July 4, 1932. he was retired from Riceland Foods. He was a Shriner and 32° Mason at Corning Masonic Lodge #719. He enjoyed hunting and was a member at First Freewill Baptist Church in Corning, AR.

He married his wife of 49 years Shirley Walls on January 15, 1966, she preceded him in death on December 25, 2015.

He is survived by four children Sherryelle and husband Billy Ford of Vienna, MO., Jerry Kirby and wife Joyce of Corning, AR., Kelly Ostrahder of Barnhart, MO., Shannon George of Reyno, AR.; one brother Gary Kirby; six sisters Betty Robinson, Jerry Tarr, June Brown, Carolyn Wooldridge, Brenda McCollum, Hilma Shepard; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents Harry and Lillian (Seagraves) Kirby; three brothers Max Ray Kirby, Thomas Eugene Kirby, Harry Donald Kirby; three sisters Joy Pauline Gartside, Susan "Anna Sue" Gutierrez, and Mary Lee Foster.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Robinson and Dewayne Kirby officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
