Lee Ramsey

Lee Ramsey, age 69, of Knobel, Arkansas, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Lee was born on March 11, 1956, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Lee spent many years working at Hart’s Furniture in Corning before retiring. He had a passion for working on cars and trucks and found great joy in the outdoors—whether it was fishing, hunting, camping, or riding motorcycles. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and friends. Lee was of the Church of Christ faith.

On March 25, 1986, Lee married Cheryl Vallance. They shared 17 years together before her passing on May 21, 2003.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Ramsey of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two precious grandchildren; his mother, Pauline Ramsey of Pocahontas, Arkansas; his brother, Ronnie (Janit) Hart of Pocahontas, Arkansas; his sister, Diane Winebaugh of Pocahontas, Arkansas; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his father, Cleveland Ramsey; and a sister, Patricia Brewer.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Bro. Herb Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, Arkansas.
