Mrs. Leoma Owens, 90, of Nixa, MO., passed away March 17, 2019 at Nixa Nursing and Rehab in Nixa, MO. Mrs. Owens was born in Success, AR., on September 25, 1928. She was a former beautician, shoe factory worker and homemaker. She loved to golf. She was member of the Highland Church of Christ, but she grew up in the Palatka Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son Terry Lee Neeley of Doniphan, MO.; two grandchildren Brian and Jennifer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Owens; her parents Bing and Nora (Pringle) Verdier; one son Gary Verdier; three sisters Geraldine Taylor, Thelma Counts, Elva Reeves; one brother Roy Verdier and one granddaughter Letha.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Black cemetery near Success, AR. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.
