Leon Cavitt

Mr. Leon Cavitt, 73, of Paragould, AR. passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Cavitt was a Line Superintendent for North Central Electric Association in Milan, MO. He was a member of Pollock Masonic Lodge #349 in Pollock, MO.
He married his wife Martie (Hefner) Cavitt on September 1, 2002 she survives. Other survivors are one son Rick (Jackie) Cavitt of Sikeston, MO.; one daughter Kemberly (Dekota) Rice of Doniphan, MO.; one step-daughter Dana (Anthony) Faulkner of Paragould, AR.; two brothers Eugene Cavitt of Jonesboro, AR. and Thurman Cavitt of Corning, AR.; two sisters Shirley Holt of Paragould, AR. and Bitha Cavitt of Rector, AR; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Elsie Cavitt; first wife June Cavitt (8/7/01); and four sisters Marie Sollis, Faye Yates, Irene Cavitt, and Wyvetta Sample.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Collie officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, AR. Public visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
