Mr. Leon Junior Moore, 75, of Neelyville, MO., passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Saint Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR., Mr. Moore was born in Corning, AR., on April 7, 1940. He was a retired farmer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Corning, AR.
He married his wife of 58 years Mrs. Tressie Earlene (Nelson) Moore on July 15, 1957, she survives. Other survivors include two sons Kevin Moore of Poplar Bluff, MO., Danny Moore of Poplar Bluff, MO.; two brothers Loyal Moore and wife Wilma of Corning, AR., Shirrel Moore and wife Brenda of Neelyville, MO.; two grandchildren Eric Moore, Misty Moore; two great-grandchildren Kyleigh and Ava.
He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Daniel and Mabel (Willis) Moore; two sons Johnny Moore, Ronnie Moore and one brother Gerald Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Troy Johnson and Chris Dixon officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to First Apostolic Church Building Fund, PO Box 436, Corning, AR 72422
