Mr. Leonard Allen Sprouse, 85, of Paragould, AR., passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Sprouse was born on December 28, 1932, in McDougal, AR.He was a farmer who enjoyed coon hunting and dog water racing. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He married his wife of 33 years Mrs. Anita Christine (Hurt) Sprouse on August 22, 1984. She survives, other survivors include seven children Janette Moss of Paragould, AR., Leonard Sprouse, Jr., of Paragpuld, AR., Hank Sprouse of Paragould, AR., Ferlin Sprouse of Arizona, Onan Sprouse of Corning, AR., Michael Sprouse of Missouri, and Sharon; one sister Bonnie Calhoun of Piggott, AR.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents Onan Davis Sprouse and Liza (Lane) Johnson, seven sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
