Les Estes

Leslie "Les" James Estes, 72, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Estes was born on July 18, 1951 in Lamar, CO. He was retired having been a farmhand and factory associated during his career. He enjoyed woodworking and was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife Marcia (Conway) Estes on June 27, 1983, she survives. Other survivors include a daughter Gerri (Bob) Johnson of Corning, AR., a son Leslie James (Jennifer) Estes, Jr. of Benton, AR.; two step-sons Allen (Katie) Warren of Corning, AR., and Ray Warren of Indiana; one granddaughter Jamee Standridge and great-granddaughter Echo Standridge; one brother Kevin Estes of Wiley, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Harold and Wilma Lucile (Foreman) Estes; one son Alan Estes and a brother Harold Estes.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Simmons officiating.
