Lessie Delmer Moore

Mr. Lessie Delmer Moore, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector, AR. Mr. Moore was born Datto, AR., on January 23, 1936. He retired from Darling Store Fixtures after 29 years where he work in Tool and Die Maintenance. He also work for 12 years at Black's Lumber Company. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed playing the guitar, farming and playing with his grandchildren. He was Church of Christ in faith.

He married his wife of 58 years Mrs Nora Jean (Bohannon) Moore on August 30, 1958. She survives, other survivors include one son Delmer Leon Moore of Biggers, AR.; one daughter Charlotte Renee and husband Jimmy Malcom of Corning, AR.; one brother Aubrey Moore of Camden, AR.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by is parents Lessie Lewis and Bertha Charlotte (Silvers) Moore; one brother William Moore and his sister Doris Armstrong.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Fears officiating. Burial will follow the services with Military Honors in Nelson Cemetery near Reyno, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Malcom, David Crawford, Phillip Melton, Joey Moore, Michael Shephard, Donald Denton and Jimmy Cole.
