Linda Forbes Hendrix

Mrs. Linda Sue (Forbes) Hendrix, 73, of Tuckerman, AR., formerly of Knobel, AR., passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Hendrix was born in Stonewall, AR., on December 4, 1946. She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening and going to flea markets.

She is survived by her children Barbara Hendrix of Harrisburg, AR., Penny Thompson of Harrisburg, AR., Brenda Hanson of Jonesboro, AR.; brothers Bill Forbes of Knobel, AR., Arlie Forbes of Saint Louis, MO.; sister Frances Ray of Knobel, AR.; grandchildren Darrell Hendrix, Dan Hendrix, Brandon Hendrix, Courtney Miller, Sam Miller, Shelby Miller, Kayla Shiltz, Molly Shultz; 13 great-grandchildren; and partner Billy Ward of Tuckerman, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jewell Lavern and Jane (Herring) Forbes; daughter Elizabeth Hendrix; brothers Emitt Forbes, Eddie Forbes, Robert Forbes; sisters Vita Ruth Forbes, Mary Daniels; and great-grandchild Alexa.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
