Linda Mabry Johnson

Mrs. Linda Mabry Johnson, 77, of Corning passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Regional One Health Medical Center in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Johnson was born May 22, 1943 in Corning, AR. She was a retired medical insurance administrator, piano teacher, and minister’s wife. She enjoyed fishing, baking bread, reading, and playing the piano and organ. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Corning.

On April 29, 1979, she married Reverend Wayne Johnson. They were married 33 years prior to his passing on January 12, 2013.

Survivors include her sons Chris Stafford and wife Kerie of Cabot, AR., and Mark Stafford and wife Gina of Van Buren, AR.; grandchildren Ryan Stafford, Skylar and husband Nick Lee, Drake Stafford and Tori Stafford; two great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members near and far.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Paul and Winifred “Winnie” (Huggins) Mabry, aunt Eula Watson, grandmother Ola Huggins, and many more much-loved family members.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend's John Michael and Carroll Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
