Linda VanNada, 78, of Corning passed away December 30, 2020 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mrs. VanNada was born August 1, 1942 in Corning. She was retired from Delmer’s Exxon where she was the secretary for many years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and shopping. She was a member of Corning Church of Christ.

On June 4, 1960, she married Delmer VanNada. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter Donna Frederick of Corning; sisters Phyllis VanNada of Corning, Carolyn Hayes of Doniphan, MO, Shirley Faughn of Hacienda Heights, CA, and Mary Taylor of Pevely, MO; and grandchildren Amy and Holly Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pearl James and Esther Verine (Williams) Hudson brothers; Freddy, Luther, Gene, and Harry Hudson and a sister Ola Mae Barton.

Visitation will be Saturday January 2, 2021 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hitt Cemetery, Success.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
