Linda Whitledge, 75, of Corning, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Whitledge was born October 23, 1950, in Missouri. A devoted homemaker, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including drawing, reading, and crocheting. Above all, she treasured her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her great happiness. She was of the Christian faith.

On June 27, 1970, Linda married the love of her life, Clifton Eugene Whitledge, in Buckeye, Arizona. Together, they shared 34 years of marriage before his passing on October 2, 2005. The love they shared remained an important part of her life.

Survivors include her children, Teresa (Trevor) Gates of Shelbyville, Indiana; Clifton (Patricia) Whitledge, Jr.; William Whitledge; and Alfred Whitledge; brother, Ronnie (Pamn) Weaver of Arizona; sisters, Susie (Louis) Boling and Kathy Rogers, both of Arizona; grandchildren, Killy Whitledge and Rose Whitledge; along with several other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

In addition to her beloved husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Rose Marie (Richmond) Weaver; and brothers, Marty Weaver and Barton Weaver.

Linda will be remembered for her devotion to her family, the quiet joys she found in her favorite hobbies, and the love she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, especially those who were blessed to share in her life and love.
