Mrs. Lois Colleen Vallance, 80, of Knobel, AR., passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at home. Mrs. Vallance was born in Peach Orchard, AR., on July 16, 1936. She was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, fishing, and taking care of her family. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She married her husband of 58 years Reverend John Kelsey Vallance on March 28, 1958. He survives. other survivors are three children Anthony Vallance and wife Kim of Knobel, AR., Angelia and husband Bob Ryan of Paragould, AR., Lola and husband Rick Holt of Knobel, AR.; two brothers Stanley Stormes of Knobel, AR., Keith Stormes of Knobel, AR.; two sisters Bea Wyatt of Knobel, AR., Bennie Earls of Poplar Bluff, MO.; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ben William and Madie Beatrice (Holt) Stormes; sisters Betty Hudson, Ellen Hill; niece Cheryl Ramsey; nephews Brad Wyatt, Greg Stormes, Steve Earls, and David Hudson.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR., with Reverend Kelsey Vallance officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
