Mr. Lonnie McKinney, 53, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Corning, AR. Mr. McKinney was born in Corning, AR., on May 29, 1961. He was self-employed and enjoyed working. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Corning, AR.
He married his wife of 29 years Rhonda (Catt) McKinney on July 14, 1984 . She survives, other survivors are two sons Trent McKinney and wife Jessica of Corning, AR., Travis McKinney of Corning, AR.; his mother Peggy (Weaver) McKinney of Corning, AR.; three brothers Carl McKinney and wife Brenda of Paragould, AR., Tony McKinney of Corning, AR., John McKinney of Corning, AR.; two sisters Patricia and husband John Yount of Mountain View, AR., Tammy Mesey of Corning, AR.; one grandson Kade McKinney of Corning, AR.
He was preceded in death by his father Lonzo Carl McKinney.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kent Modlin officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
