Mrs. Thelma Lorene White, 96, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. White was born in Clay County, AR., on May 30, 1916. She was retired assembly worker from Basler Electric, ahe also worked at White Drive-in, she was a member of Corning Church of Christ.
She married her husband Elmer White on March 8, 1936. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons Billy White of Conway, AR., Ted White of McDougal, AR., Ray White of Corning, AR., Fred White of Corning, AR.; four daughters Barbara Zeisset of Highland, IL., Ava Ermert of Corning, AR., Pat Holifield of Corning, AR., Alma Johnson of Corning, AR.; eleven grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents W.E. Garrett and Julie (Hutchison) French; son Willis White; one brother; two sisters and grandchild Rhonda White.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Cantwell Cemetery near Corning. Visitation will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
