Louise Kirby

Helen Louise Kirby, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at home. Mrs. Kirby was born November 7, 1942 in Corning, AR. She was retired from Corning Nursing Home. She loved cooking large meals for her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed collecting dishes and shopping. Louise was a member of Corning First Free Will Baptist Church.

On February 22, 1963, she married Gary Harold Kirby. They celebrated their 60th anniversary last year. Other survivors include their children Paula (Steve) Ramsey of Corning, AR., Donnie (Lisa) Kirby of Pocahontas, AR., and Cindy (Danny) Curtis of Corning; AR.; brothers Walter (Bonnie) Campbell of Williamsburg, IA., and Jerry (Darlene) Campbell of Sidney, NE.; grandchildren Amber (Ricky) Broadway, Zachary (Amy) Ramsey, Dustin (Kalinda) Ramsey, Aaron (Tiffany) Kirby, Brandon (Jennifer) Kerley, Jacob (Bailey) Kirby, Kirby (Kayla) Curtis, Ryan (Tiffany) Curtis and Timothy (Haley) Curtis; great-grandchildren Marissa, Charles, Braydon, Cole, Ripp, Levi, Owen and Gentry; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie Earl and Dorothy Delphy (Collins) Campbell; brothers James Harold and Sammy Gene Campbell; and great grandchild Alyssa Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 223, Corning, AR 72422.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Ryan Curtis and Bro. Keith Wooldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning.
