Mrs. Louise (Rice) Miller, 93, of Paragould, AR., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 with her brother and dear friend by her side. Mrs. Miller was born March 11, 1927 in Corning, AR., to the late Elden and Lidy (Bailey) Rice. She grew up and went to school in Knobel, then moved to Kansas City in 1945 where she became a realtor.
Louise married Donald Miller on January 13, 1978 and they returned to Arkansas to live. After her husband's death, she moved to Paragould and shared a home with her brother, Gene Rice. Other survivors include her sister Wilma Kavy and several nieces and nephews.
Louise truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Her pleasant personality and positive outlook on life was contagious to everyone she met. Her cup was always half full. Louise loved her family and had a great compassion for animals. She enjoyed golf, gardening, cooking, reading, morning puzzles and talking to her friends and family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Earnest Rice, Harold Rice; sisters Martha Arnold and Christine Hart.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel Pastor Jeff Crain officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
