Luanna Bauschlicher

Mrs. Luanna Laura Bauschlicher, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at home with her family. Mrs. Bauschlicher was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, church activities, cooking, crossword puzzles, gardening, and yard work. She was a member of Farm Bureau Women’s Committee and Corning Harvest Festival Committee. She was also a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning where she taught Sunday school for more than 40 years and served the church in many other capacities.

She married her husband of 53 years Eugene Bauschlicher on October 18, 1953. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2006.

She is survived by her son David Bauschlicher and wife Lynn of Corning, AR.; one brother Jerry Fischer of Rose Bud, IL.; two grandsons Chris Bauschlicher of Corning, AR., Will Bauschlicher and wife Olivia of Corning, AR.; one great-granddaughter Macy Bauschlicher; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents William and Emily (Mueller) Fischer; one sister Linda McCaffrey; two brothers Wayne Fischer and Herbert Fischer.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning, AR., with Pastor Jon Bischof officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
