Lucille Bryant

Mrs. Videll Lucille Bryant, 89, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mrs. Bryant was born in Success, AR., on September 14, 1926, She was a homemaker, she also had worked as an assembler and housekeeper. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking and playing Skip-Bo and Aggravation. She attended First General Baptist Church in Corning.

She married her husband of 52 years on March 4, 1947 Mr. Roy M. Bryant, he preceded in death on November 13, 1999.

She is survived by one grandson Chris Rogers of Corning, AR.; two great-grandchildren Savanna Rogers, Blaine Rogers; several nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Robert Rilley and Viola Mae (Callahan) Black; her daughter Sherry (Bryant) Rogers; one brother Thomas R. Black and one sister Geneva (Black) Newingham.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
