Lue Stacy

Lue Stacy, 69, of Corning, AR, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born January 27, 1956, in Corning, AR.

Lue served as a dispatcher for the Corning Police Department and was a devoted daycare worker. She loved caring for others, attending exercise class, and traveling to Kentucky to spend time with family. She was a faithful member of Corning First Free Will Baptist Church.

On June 20, 1980, she married Junior Stacy, who preceded her in death on January 7, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Minnie Garrett.

Survivors include her goddaughter, Haley (Timothy) Curtis of Pocahontas, AR; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Neshia Stacy of Paducah, KY, Judy Laughlin of Corning, AR, and Tanya (Jim) Stark of Jonesboro, AR; nieces and nephews, Carolyn (Doug) Raney, great nieces and nephews, Brett (Sarah) Ezell, Nichelle (C.J.) Reed and Payton (Austin) Beasley;  great-great-nieces and nephews, Madeline Estell Ezell, Hera Nadine Reed, Hudson Beasley, and Emma Reed; along with many other nieces, nephews, special friends, and members of her church family.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Reverend Ryan Curtis officiating. Burial will take place at Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR.
