Marie Gish

Ms. Marie Rose Gish, 88, of Saint Louis, MO., passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Parklane Care Center in Wentzville, MO. Ms. Gish was born in Knobel, AR., on August 15, 1924. She was retired bank clerk/teller from US Bank. She did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and the Senior Center. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by two sons William Gish of O'Fallon, MO., Kenneth Gish and wife Joyce of O'Fallon, MO.; two brothers William Engel and wife Judy, Fred Engel; one sister Ann Engel; three grandchildren Ellen Heald, Layne Gish, Kathryn and husband Robert Becker; four great-grandchildren Jacob, Riley, Aubrey and Elijah.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Rose (Kirchner) Engel; three brothers Peter Engel, Nicholas Engel, Louis Engel and one sister Rita Siefert.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 29, 2013 at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow the services at Saint Bernard Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8 PM, a Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:00 PM during the visitation.
