Marie Malott

Marie Malott, 73, of Gatewood, MO., passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at home. Mrs. Malott was born March 23, 1949 in Hickoria, AR. She was retired from Delaplaine School District and enjoyed spending time with her family, watching videos, working crossword puzzles and word searches. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her children Travis (Jamie) Malott of St. Charles, MO., and Terrie Malott of Gatewood, MO.; sisters Loretta Shields of Lafe, AR., and Carol Blanton of Meridian, MS.; grandchildren Shawn Malott, Kayla Malott and Colton Smith; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Bulah (Pence) Dobbins; brothers David Dobbins, Raymond Dobbins, Billy Dobbins and Allen Walley; and sister Rozetta Thompson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel until the time of funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM with pastor Larry Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow the services at Redenbough Cemetery, near Corning, AR.
