Mrs. Lillie Marie Mitchell, 85, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Polar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Yellville, AR., May 29, 1930. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed doing seamstress work.
She is survived by her husband Melvin Melton Mitchell of Corning, AR.; her daughter Dianne McArthur of Conway, AR.; a brother CD Stice of Mattoon, IL.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-greandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Artie (Prater) Stice; three brothers Sinis Stice, William Stice, Chester Stice; two sisters Gertie Shannon and Ivy Shelby.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Lavern Reed officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
