Mark Allen Ryan

Mr. Mark Allen Ryan, 55, of Jefferson City, MO., passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 in Columbia, MO. Mr. Ryan was born in Seattle, WA., on September 8, 1957. He was a rural carrier for the United States Post Office. He loved antiques, decorating, gardening, and classical music. He was a member of the Bittersweet Garden Club of Jefferson City and Westminster Congregational United Church of Christ in Spokane, WA. He loved the Mormon Church and was very proud to be a descendant of the fourth president Wilford Woodruff.
On August 25, 2007 he was joined with his domestic partner Scot Stout. He survives, other survivors include his mother Ruth Nicholas of Lynnwood, WA; two brothers Gary Ryan of North Bend, WA., James Ryan of Tacoma, WA.; two sisters Stephanie Moore-Himmel of Arlington, WA., Cindy Moore Milligan of Mill Creek, WA.; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Marshall Otto Ryan, Sr. and one brother Marshall Otto Ryan, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Linda Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the services in Richwoods Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
