Mr. Marlin L. Crabb, 80, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Crabb was born in Corning, AR., on June 9, 1937. He worked in the shipping and receiving department for Quaker Oats, and he also worked as a manager at a Steak ‘n Shake in St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed antique cars, playing music on the guitar, fixing things and flea marketing. He attended the House of Prayer in Corning.
He is survived by his daughter Cathy (Crabb) Coleman of Stillman Valley, IL.; three grandchildren Jennifer Kline, Kelly Vronch, Jacob Coleman; five great-grandchildren Maddie Kline, Kate Kline, Noah Town, Gabe Vronch, Molly Vronch; and a very close dear friend Dorothy Curtis of Corning, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis E. “Buster” and Cora Bell (Vines) Crabb; two brothers Willis “Smiley” Crabb, Vonzye Crabb and two other infant siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cantwell Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 7, 2017 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
