Mr. Marty Thompson, 47, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Saturday August 28, 2021. Marty was born June 13, 1974 in Harrisburg, AR. He loved mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his son Dakota Thompson of Pocahontas, AR.; brother Clay Thompson of Searcy, AR.; sisters Terrie Slocome of Fairbanks, AK., and Stacy Hart of Corning, AR.; and mother of his son Trish Hollis of Corning, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Joe and Mary (Lindsey) Thompson and Dakota’s brother Jared Murphy.
The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
