Marvin Householder, Sr.

Mr. Marvin Douglas Householder, Sr., 62, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at home. Mr. Householder was born in Piggott, AR., on April 23, 2014. He was a Construction worker and superintendent. He enjoyed hunting, leather crafting and mechanic work. He attended the House of Prayer in Corning.
He married his wife of 44 years Glenda Diane (Ables) Householder on June 20, 1970. She survives, other survivors include two children Doug Householder and wife Marsha; Sarah and husband Jamey Bland; his mother Georgia Householder of Corning, AR.; one brother Edward Joe Householder of Piggott, AR.; two sisters Sharon Carpenter of Corning, AR., Rebecca Reed of Bentonville, AR.; ten grandchildren Zack Bland, Cody Bland, Alison Bland, Garrett Householder, Andrea Beaver, Jessie Miller, Monica Miller, Amy Miller, Katie Miller and Brailyn Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward Lee Householder and one brother Danial Lee Householder.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the service at Post Oak Cemetery near McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
