Mary Elizabeth Hearren

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth “Tiny” Hearren, 83, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hearren was born in Knobel, AR., on January 27, 1935. She was retired from the Doni Martin Center for Developmental Services. She was a member of Smith Chapel Church in Boydsville, AR., where she served many years as a Sunday School Nursery Teacher. She was a long-time supporter of Sonshine Children’s Home and Smith Chapel Youth Group. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and tea parties with the kids. She devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by seven children David Bearden and wife Nova of Corning, AR., Robin Bearden and wife Felicia of Austin, TX., Susan Renee Hurt of Rector, AR., Tina and husband Dennis Parrish of Knob, AR., Candy and husband Eugene Yancey of Boydsville, AR., Sherrie and husband Ronald Small of Corning, AR., Benjamin Conway and wife Renee of Piggott, AR.; two brothers Roger Conway of Paragould, AR., Jerry Conway of Corning, AR.; two sisters Peggy Petago of Knobel, AR., Jean Pence of Corning, AR.; fifteen grandchildren Christopher Bearden, Dusty and husband Jason Teague, Dan Hurt, Rickey Hurt, Keith Parrish and wife Whitney, Tyliegh Hays, Zack Yancey and wife Brandie, Zane Yancey, Zared Yancey, Cynthia and husband Charles Stull, Trampas Small and wife Felisha, Cody Small, Jade Conway, Fisher Conway and Walker Conway; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two brother-in-laws Hubert Prine, James Bumpus; and many more folks that called her Grandma.

She was preceded in death by husbands Junior Bearden and Leon Hearren; her parents Jack and Laura Pearl (Shoemaker) Conway; one brother Charles Conway; two sisters Jackie Prine, Faye Bumpus; son-in-law Rickey Hurt; two brothers-in-law Gary Petago and Floyd Pence.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Smith Chapel Church in Boydsville, AR., with Jerry Suiter officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel, additionally a visitation will begin Wednesday at 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.

Proudly serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Sweetwood and Robert Prince.
