Mary Carolyn Ownbey

Mrs. Mary Carolyn Ownbey, 68, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center in Mountain Home, AR. Mrs. Ownbey was born in Lafe, AR., on April 17, 1946. She was a cafeteria worker for Mountain Home Public Schools. She enjoyed attending church, gardening, spending time with family and she loved her dog Toby. She attended Living Word Fellowship Church in Corning.

She married her husband of 45 years Donald "Don" Arthur Ownbey on December 25, 1965. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2010.

She is survived by her daughter Jeannie and her husband Lynn Anderson of Mountain Home, AR.; two grandchildren Jay Wooldridge, Aubyn Wooldridge; her mother Mary Tyler of Paragould, AR.; ten brothers and sisters Linda Keeling of Lafe, AR., Louis Denning of Mountain Home, AR., Kathy Gleghorn of Knobel, AR., Randy Denning of Piggott, AR., Nina Burns of Corning, AR., David Denning of Oak Grove, AR., Stanley Denning of Paragould, AR., Marilyn Denning of Paragould, AR., Marvin Denning of Paragould, AR., Raymond Denning of Paragould, AR.; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband;and father Orvil Denning.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Monreal officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
