Mary Therese Prater

Ms. Mary Therese Prater, 84, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Ms. Prater was born in Pocahontas, AR., on June 15, 1937. She was retired. She had worked as a dietician and an apartment manager. Among the many hats she wore during her lifetime, the ones she wore proudest were daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was full of love and always had a smile for those she met. She enjoyed flower gardening and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include her children Diana (Wayne) Tillie of Corning, Greg Prater of Jonesboro, Tina Prater of Corning and Pete (Melissa) Prater of Jonesboro; sisters Sue Taylor of Corning and Marsha Meeks of Reyno; grandchildren Cory (Amber) Russell, Zach Prater, Ty (Emily) Prater, Laken (Steve) Smith, Brittany (Seth) Anderson, Blake Bolen, Kendall Prater and Peyton Prater; great grandchildren Morgan, Kaleb, and Kenley Russell, Charlee and Savvy Prater.

She was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Prater and parents Lem and Geraldine (Bryant) Bundren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
