Mrs. Maxine Faye Crafton, 90, of Morrilton, AR., formally of Corning, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Conway Regional Health Systems in Conway, AR. Mrs. Crafton was born in Pitman, AR., on December 21, 1927. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed quilting, crochet, gardening, crossword puzzles and reading. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She married her husband of 61 years Mr. Lester Crafton on May 14, 1946. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2008.
She is survived by two daughters Pauletta and husband Harold Thacker of Hot Springs, AR., Loretta Gustavus and husband Bill Weiss of Morrilton, AR.; one sister Juanita Welchel of Poplar Bluff, MO.; five grandchildren Gary Beckham, Tim Beckham, Shane Gustavus, Leslie Gustavus and Robbie Gustavus; eight great-children Meredith, Myles, Eric and Kane Beckham, Hunter, Zachary, Cage and Jordan Gustavus; four great-great-grandchildren Mikkie and Reeves Wyatt, Harlee Jo and Joseph Gustavus.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents Ulric and Lena (Redwine) Reeves; her son Gene Crafton; one brother Paul Reeves and one sister Glenda Crafton.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cam Stevens officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
