Mrs. Maxine (Cottle) Triplett, 99, of Peach Orchard, AR., passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Triplett was born in Peach Orchard, AR., on October 3, 1914. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Peach Orchard.
She married her husband of forty-eight years Clarence Triplett on August 8, 1950, he preceded her in death on February 12, 1999.
She is survived by two sons James Gilland of Peach Orchard, AR., Eugene Gilland of Crowley, TX.; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Ora and Bessie (Lamb) Cottle; four brothers Coleman Cottle, Elton Cottle, Chester Cottle, Eugene Cottle; two sisters Jane Foley and Dennis Booth.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gene Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow the service at Brownie Cemetery near Peach Orchard. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
