Mazie Wiliford

Mrs. Mazie Bell Wiliford, 87, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Wiliford was born in Winston, MS., on March 7, 1928. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked over 30 years at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. She enjoyed reading, gardening, visiting the Senior Citizen's Center and staying busy. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Corning.

She married her husband Ray Wiliford on April 7, 1961 in Donelson, TN., he preceded her in death on August 12, 1982.

She is survived by two daughters Lynda and husband Jeff Cato of Success, AR., Letha and husband Rondo Stienbron of Oklahoma City, OK.; step-son Marc Wiliford and wife Joann of Detroit, MI.; four grandchildren Steven cato, Jonathan Cato, Nathan Stienbron and Audry Stienbron.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Maurice and Letha Rosie (Edwards) Whites and one brother Edgar Whites.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 7, 2015 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kent Modlin officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
