Mr Dewey Michael "Mike" Banks, 70, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington, TN. Mr. Banks was born in Corning, AR., on April 1, 1947. He was a retired business manager. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
He married his wife 41 years Mrs. Cheryl Banks in October 1966. She preceded him death on November 7, 2007.
He is survived by his son Shane Banks and wife Twyla of Florence, AL.: his daughter Brandy and husband David Akins of Burlison, TN.; his father Sammie Banks of Corning, AR.; four grandchildren Kirby, Caleb, Drace, and Sydney Banks.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his mother Nona Belle (Magee) Banks; two brothers Danny Banks and Sammy Banks, Jr.
A Graveside funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning, AR., under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
