Mr. Phillip Michael Jackson, 68, of Corning, AR. passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at home. Mr. Jackson was retired from Clay County Electric Cooperative, he was a member of the General Baptist Church in Corning, he enjoyed photography and painting.
He married his wife Betty (Herring) Jackson on December 24, 1960 she survives. Other survivors include one daughter Lisa Lewallen of Ravenden, AR.; two grandchildren Lacey and husband Austin Cotter of Cherokee Village, AR. Channing and Husband Doug Claude of Corning, AR.; three great–grandchildren Dylan, Cole and Miley; one brother Donald Jackson of Corning, AR.; one sister Christine and husband Larry Wallace of Memphis, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Mary (Clifton) Jackson; son Kreg Jackson; brother Gerald Jackson; sister Polly Prince.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Dingus officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Sunday, April 4, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
