Mike Willfond

Mr. Mike Edward Willfond, 26, of Monroeville, AL., passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at home. Mr. Willfond was born in Paragould, AR. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attended the McCullough Christian Center.

He married his wife Niki (Ikner) Willfond on March 10, 2010. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters Bethany and Destiny Willfond of Rector, AR.; two step-children Anna and Brady Ikner of Uriah, AL.; mother Geyvon (Murphy) and step-father Mark Crest of Corning, AR.; father Carl Willfond and step-mother Lorie of Corning, AR.; two sisters Nadine Hughes of Imboden, AR., Katrina Willfond of Corning, AR.; step sister Halie; mother-in-law Pat and father-in-law Larry Ikner.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 24, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will follow the service in Duty Cemetery outside of Walnut Ridge, AR. with full military honors. Public visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
