Mildred Tracy

Mildred Tracy, 99, of Jackson, MO, formerly of Corning, passed away July 6, 2022 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, MO.

Mrs. Tracy was born June 12, 1923 in Corning. She was a homemaker and also assisted her husband in running the business of Tracy and Son Body Shop. She loved visiting with everyone, spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and tending her flowers. She was of the Christian faith. She was loved by many and missed by all.

On Feb. 12, 1943, she married James Tracy. They were married 68 years prior to his death on September 25, 2011.

Survivors include her children Billy Tracy of Corning and Gail (Stan) Mungle of Jackson, MO; grandchildren Craig (Jennifer) Friese, Brian (Shy) Friese, and Michael (Tracy) McCluskey; great grandchild Klaira Friese; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents George and Clara (LaRue) Hoffer.

Visitation will be Friday July 8, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Graveside service will be at Corning Cemetery at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
