Muriel Hawkins, 92, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Ms. Hawkins was born November 6, 1930 in Palatka, AR. She was retired sales associate for Famous Barr in Saint Louis, MO. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Corning, AR.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Hazel (Miller) Hawkins; brother Loren Smith; sisters Moneda Stokes and Estalee Hawkins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Reverend Robert Moore officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery.
