Mrs. Myrna Elizatene Bennett, 87, of Ann Arbor, MI., passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at home. Mrs. Bennett was born in McDougal, AR., on October 21, 1929. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a generous giving heart and was of the Baptist Faith.
She married her husband 54 years Mr. Arthur Dreadman Bennett in Ann Arbor, MI., on October 13, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2006.
She is survived by her daughters Judy and husband Rodney Balyeat of Tecumseh, MI., Kathy and husband Mark Field of Ann Arbor, MI.; sister Lexie Iacovetto of Steamboat Springs, CO.; grandchildren Todd Balyeat and wife Lyndsay, Trevor Balyeat and wife Tori; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents A. Matthew and Dessie Lee (Bolen) Gribble.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Loy Culver officiating. Burial will follow the services at Post Oak Cemetery near McDougal, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
