Mrs. Myrtle Altina Rush, 91, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 in Walnut Ridge, AR., after a lengthy illness.
She was born March 21, 1924 in Knobel, AR., to Calvin and Ida Mae O’Daniel. She was one of 11 children.
Mrs. Rush was a caregiver throughout most of her life. Some of these privileged people included both of her parents and three of her sisters.
She is survived by brother CA O’Daniel; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Ralph Harold and William Floyd; and seven sisters Martha Ellen, Lady Maud, Nellie May, Onia May, Essie Dell, Opal Pearl, and Gladys Irene.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
